Sonia K Ayaz - Chair

Sonia K Ayaz is the founder and creative director for Sonia Ayaz vegan handbags. Currently, she is the Chair of YENO, as well as former chicklet at the Entrepreneurial Spark Manchester. Recently was voted 30 under 30 up and coming entrepreneurs in Manchester. She is currently mentoring business students across local colleges.

Daniel Arundel - Vice Chair

My Names Daniel I’m 20 from Oldham and love baking. I own and run The Arundel Bakery which supplies to retailers across the country. I am Oldham’s Young Entrepreneur of the year 2016.

Eric Bishyika - Board Member

Eric Bishyika Board Member Eric Bishyika young entrepreneur from Oldham who at 13 years old while at school set up a clothing business (SW Clothing) using money saved up from a paper around he used to do. He went on to be featured in the BBC News, Channel 4, Manchester Evening News & other articles. Eric now runs an incubator programme called BIG (Business Incubator Group) which helps young entrepreneurs and disadvantaged young people to set up their own business and build their personal skills.

Nicola Webb - Board Member

I’m Nicola, I am a sixth form student studying business and economics. I was the Managing Director of Flow and runner up for the National Journey award for Young Enterprise. Currently looking for a Business Management apprenticeship.

Nathan - Board Member

Currently works for Pennine Care CAMHS in delivering service user engagement and participation.
He also has a seat on the British Youth Council’s Youth Voice Steering Group where he liaises with various Government Departments and Officials with the end goal of making them more accessible to young people.
Very much an IN-trepeneur Nathan dedicates his working life to benefiting and developing public services, particularly Mental Health services.

Career Experience: During his time on the National Citizen Service’s National Youth Board, Nathan had the opportunity to advocate directly to Former Prime Minister David Cameron on the matter of Young Peoples Mental Health Services. For his advocacy work he was awarded the Service User of the Year Award by the North West Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Ben Kershaw - Board Member

Ben is a socially intelligent, confident & assertive team player, who has experience of working in & leading a variety of teams. He is currently an employee at BDO LLP working within the Audit Department.

Tayler Keogh-Wroe - Board Member

: Taylor runs a small part time business, Hey Puddin, making bespoke cakes for celebrations an event’s across Oldham and Manchester.

ACHIEVMENTS:
YENO Member since September 2019
I joined YENO in September 2019 after helping and participating in a couple of events earlier in the
year. Since being a part of the Oldham Enterprise Trust and networking with YENO my confidence has grown a huge amount. Being a part of such a supportive group has enabled me to step outside my comfort zones and most importantly inspire other young business owners to do the same.
In the last 12 months my achievements have been:

£3000 Grant from the Norman Stoller foundation. This led me to be the recipient of the
Millionth pound of funding which featured myself and my 2 children in a press release
covering papers, social media and magazines.

Completed 2 cohorts of the Business Incubator programmes (BIG)

Helped to organise and run an event ‘inspiring women in business’ aimed at encouraging
young females to pursue their passions. Finalist for ‘Young student entrepreneur of the year’ at UK Fast.

Matty Street - Board Member

Serial entrepreneur - Grass roots motorsport expert establishing a number of business that working in the motorsport industry, from TeamKarting.co.uk the UK’s highest rated indoor karting track, TK-Xtra a pro kart racing team and CKC with is a national kart championship for drivers ages 8-12 years old. Matty also races himself in the prestigious Brit Car championship with Team Brit. At just 21 Matty employed 30 and ran businesses which turnover £1m P/A.

Reece Best - Board Member

Founder/Brand Guru of Watt Water - the UK's first still caffeinated water product. Achievements include winning a Virgin VOOM Crowd funder competition by raising £10,00 in 72 hours to launch Watt Water.

Eric, Sonia & Daniel have been supported with Grants provided by the Oldham Enterprise Trust. Nicola’s Young Enterprise programme was funded by the Oldham Enterprise Trust.
